We’re a company that specializes in free range, hormone free chicken. Our goal is to provide quality and healthy products, with an environmental approach.

The Farm

Pollos Panizel was founded 25 years ago by Alberto Paniagua Zeledón. In its 2 hectares, it houses 5 stables with an approximate capacity of 7.000-10.000 chickens per month. The farm is located in Rio de Oro, up the hills near Carmona.

The Owners

Alberto Paniagua Zeledón and Patrick Farnleitner are the owners of Bio-Pollo. One of the most important aspects for both is the fact that Bio-Pollo is a family business.

Their goal is to increase their business in a gradual and sustainable way, without neglecting the characteristic top quality of its products.

Where we are

The farm is located in the province of Guanacaste, in Río de Oro, up the hills near Carmona.

Guanacaste is the 7th province of the Costa Rican Republic and one of the most important in terms of tourism.

Distribution Area

Currently we have 6 distributors that deliver our top quality products in the provinces of Guanacaste, Puntarenas, Alajuela and San José.

Some of the towns where the chicken is delivered are Tamarindo, Santa Cruz, Sámara, Nosara, Mal País, Santa Teresa, Montezuma, Cóbano, Tambor, Paquera, Jicaral, Carmona, Hojancha, Upala, Cañas, Jacó and San José.
